Leading physical security and enterprise single sign-on vendor's team to provide complete solution
April 7, 2008 — San Francisco, CA; To add greater depth and breadth to the company’s logical security suite, the Global Security Division of Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) today announced a strategic alliance with Passlogix Inc., provider of the market-leading v-GO® Sign-On Platform for enterprise single sign-on and related authentication solutions. The agreement authorizes Diebold to sell, install and service Passlogix v-GO solutions that simplify and secure application access, improve authentication and support corporate identity management objectives. It also paves the way for integrated solutions enabling end users to access doors, computers and applications with a single device combining Diebold’s and Passlogix’s technologies.

v-GO SSO (v-GO Single Sign-On®), the core application in the Passlogix v-GO platform, automatically and securely signs the user into enterprise applications after a single network logon without requiring additional identification and authentication processes. The v-GO suite also includes solutions for self-service password reset, management of shared password access to privileged accounts, integration with strong authentication and identity management systems, and other complementary solutions facilitating logical access.

Diebold’s LINX Predator Elite is the only system on the market that has been tested and approved by the United States Air Force for both access control and alarm intrusion and has achieved Level 1 certification for installation in Priority 1 U.S. military.
