IBM Certifies Passlogix v-GO Provisioning Manager as "Ready for IBM Tivoli Software"
July 14, 2005 — NEW YORK, NY; Passlogix®, the leading provider of enterprise sign-on solutions, today announced that IBM Tivoli has certified Passlogix v-GO® Provisioning Manager (v-GO PM)™ as “Ready for IBM Tivoli Software.”
Passlogix v-GO PM, part of the v-GO Sign-on Platform™, integrates with IBM Tivoli® Identity Manager (ITIM) to extend IBM’s secure, automated and policy-based user identity management solution. Integration between v-GO PM and ITIM provides IBM Tivoli clients with an integrated identity management solution that includes enterprise single sign-on, Zero Touch Provisioning™ and extended event logging and reporting capabilities.

This certification confirms that Passlogix’s v-GO PM meets key standards for integration with ITIM based on testing and validation by Tivoli technical experts. Highlights of the integration include:
- Integrated identity management solution that can include an easy to configure, easy to deploy and easy to administer enterprise single sign-on solution. Passlogix v-GO SSO provides single sign-on to any application including those systems and applications that have been provisioned by ITIM.
- Zero-touch™ credential provisioning eliminates end user involvement in the credential provisioning process. Using the ITIM connector, v-GO PM accepts and interprets instructions from ITIM, enabling administrators to transparently add, edit, delete and distribute credentials to the end user.
- Extension of event logging and reporting capabilities. For example, enabling administrators to uniquely identify all applications configured for an end user and the usage details for each user on each application.
The v-GO Sign-On Platform is the first open sign-on platform that addresses the range of sign-on challenges enterprises face as they extend single sign-on into their infrastructure. It enables enterprise customers to implement complete identity management systems where strong authentication, single sign-on and provisioning technologies are completely integrated into a seamlessly functioning system.
