Passlogix / Forrester Research Webinar on Enterprise Single Sign-On Slated for Noon April 13

April 4, 2007 — New York, NY; Passlogix^®, Inc. announced today that it will participate in a Forrester Research webinar called “The value of E-SSO beyond password problems and help desk calls” at 12 noon EDT on Friday, April 13. Jonathan Penn, Forrester’s VP and Research Director of Security, will explore the value of enterprise single sign-on technology (ESSO) beyond its role as a solution for password management and help desk call reduction.

Topics will include the role of ESSO into an overall identity strategy, how ESSO facilitates the implementation of other identity technologies and integrates with other identity management products, where the future of identity management is going, and how ESSO fits in.

Stephane Fymat, VP of Product Management and Sales Operations at Passlogix, will also discuss the use of Passlogix’s v-GO Sign On Platform as part of an identity management roadmap, including a three-step strategy that combines ESSO technology with identity provisioning and strong authentication. The integration of these three technologies simplifies user sign-on, enhances security, reduces help desk costs, eliminates the need for users to know or touch application passwords, facilitates the identity mapping process for administrators, and simplifies deployment of smart cards and other strong authentication devices.
