v-GO Sign-on Platform Will Meet Customer Demand for Password Management
November 16, 2006 — New York, NY; Passlogix®, Inc., developer of the market-leading v-GO® Sign-on Platform™ for enterprise single sign-on (ESSO), announced today that enterprise IT solutions provider PTC System has become the first Passlogix Platinum Partner in Singapore. PTC’s addition of the v-GO® suite to its product portfolio reflects rising interest in password management and associated strong authentication and identity management initiatives among both commercial and government organizations in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
PTC has served customers in the technology, biomedical, financial, healthcare, telecommunications, defense and government sectors since 1991. The firm’s services include data storage, network management, grid computing and content management as well as data security.

The Passlogix v-GO Sign-On Platform is built around v-GO SSO (v-GO Single Sign-On®), which automatically and securely signs the user into enterprise applications after a single network logon without requiring additional identification and authentication processes. This reduces the security gaps, administrative overhead, user frustration and help desk costs involved with the use of multiple application passwords.
The v-GO Sign-On Platform also includes five add-on products that extend v-GO’s single sign-on capabilities to any form of strong authentication and to kiosk environments; enable all identity provisioning systems to automatically inject user credentials into v-GO SSO; and enable self-service reset of forgotten Windows passwords.
