Strong Authentication for Healthcare Organizations to Be Discussed in Feb. 21 Webinar Hosted By Passlogix with Forrester Research

February 14, 2008 — New York, NY; Passlogix^®, Inc. announced today that it will host a webinar titled “Strong Authentication in Healthcare” in conjunction with Forrester Research at 11:30 am EST on Thursday, February 21. The free 60-minute presentation will address the use of strong two-factor authentication to improve security in healthcare organizations as well as give medical professionals faster and easier access to necessary medical information.

Panelists will include Andras Cser, Senior Analyst, Security and Risk Management, Forrester Research, and Stephane Fymat, VP of Strategy and Product Management, Passlogix.

The discussion will cover topics such as the value of strong authentication in helping to achieve HIPAA compliance and specific requirements for multi-factor authentication in healthcare. The presentation will then cover multi-factor authentication device types best suited to a healthcare environment from both ease of use and security aspects and how different multi-factor authentication technologies fit with access technologies such as enterprise single sign-on. In the second part of the presentation, Forrester will review foundations for building deployment strategies for ensuring smooth deployments and boost user acceptance.
