December 3, 2007 — New York, NY; Passlogix®, Inc. announced today that it will host a webinar featuring Forrester Research called “Shared Account Management: The Next Step in Enterprise Single Sign-On” at 11am EDT on Tuesday, December 4. The free 60-minute presentation will address newer strategies for privileged user and password management, including convergence with single sign-on and provisioning technologies, designed to address the security, efficiency and compliance challenges of managing accounts where security credentials are shared by multiple users.

Presenters from Forrester will be Jonathan Penn, VP and Research Director, Security and Risk Management, and Andras Cser, Senior Analyst, Security and Risk Management. Stephane Fymat, Passlogix VP of Strategy and Product Management, will also participate in the session.

Topics will include the problems associated with shared accounts, the growing issues of auditing and compliance, conventional methods of managing privileged passwords, and the pros and cons of newer point solutions. The discussion will also cover emerging models that will integrate privileged user and password management with single sign-on, provisioning systems and strong authentication technologies to achieve additional benefits such as improved auditing and minimally invasive application-to-application password support.
