Senior Software Engineer

This position requires an individual who displays significant competency and experience in developing software for Win32 client and server platforms, at a minimum. Commercial software development experience at a team leadership level retaining significant hands-on involvement is required. This individual should be capable of leading and designing development efforts of a group of developers towards common delivery goals with a significant hands-on implementation role. Enthusiasm, conscientiousness and ability to work in a team environment are a necessity.

Territory Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop interest in targeted companies in assigned territory for Passlogix Enterprise Single Sign-on software;
  • Manage the technical and business proving processes to drive qualified opportunities through to closure and accurately forecast and achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals;
  • Develop and manage local relationships with partners, regional resellers and systems integrators to accelerate sales activities and facilitate channel results;
  • Assist with local promotions and trade-show participation, including lead generation and follow-up.

Experience:

  • Enterprise software sales experience selling complex solutions up through to the C-level;
  • Experienced at initiating contact with targeted prospects through a combination of cold calling, targeted mailing and partner referral;
  • Proven track record in developing and managing a regional pipeline of new business sufficient to consistently exceed quota;
  • Skilled at navigating large organizations, developing relationships and selling on both business and technical levels,
  • Demonstrated experience qualifying prospects through each stage of the sales cycle based on committed customer steps prior to applying company resources;
  • Ability to negotiate price and basic license terms to maximize overall value for company.

Additional Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S. degree, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years enterprise software sales experience for products or solutions that have a 6+ month sales cycle;
  • Channel development and cooperative partner selling experience;

Software Engineer

This position requires an individual who displays competency and experience in developing software for Win32 client and server platforms. This individual should have commercial software development experience. This individual should be capable of guiding development efforts of 2-3 developers and take ownership of specific projects, designs and implementation efforts. Tasks will include developing and testing major software components and projects, documenting design and development efforts, actively participating in design issues and definitions, and significant hands-on implementation efforts. Enthusiasm, conscientiousness and ability to work in a team environment are a necessity.

Sales Engineer

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales and business development personnel in developing new customers in the target industries: Fortune 500, financial services, pharmaceuticals, major manufacturing, healthcare professional services, , and large integrators;
  • Help achieve strategic objectives and revenue goals;
  • Play a key role in the sales process and drive that process to sales closures;
  • Develop technical relationships with VARs and partners to assist them in selling and supporting Passlogix products and services;
  • Assist and drive all technical aspects of the sales cycle: presenting a solution, proposal response, creating live-test demonstrations, developing field integration between Passlogix software and customer applications, trouble-shooting technical issues during software pilots and live-tests;
  • Develop creative technical solutions to apparent technical challenges in implementing the software;
  • Develop in-depth expertise on Passlogix products and products of complementary software partners, such as Citrix, PKI vendors (Entrust, VeriSign, Baltimore, Keon), directory service vendors (Novell, Netscape, Active Directory), etc.;
  • Provide trade show and demonstration support;
  • Develop appropriate documentation, training materials and templates to support field engineering forces, including VARs and partners;
  • Establish Passlogix's technical credibility in the industry.

 Skills and Performance Factors:

  • Strong expertise in enterprise computing, security, PKI, directory services, authentication, encryption, identity management and PC software and utilities,;
  • Expertise in configuration, deployment, and administration of Windows NT/2000/XP in domain and active directory architectures;
  • Experience with enterprise LDAP directories such as Sun One Identity Server, Novell eDirectory and Microsoft Active Directory;
  • Experience with Citrix Metaframe and nFuse products;
  • Outgoing, self-starter, self-organizer;
  • Ability to initiate contact and create relationships with high levels of trust and credibility;

 Experience and Job Requirements:

QA Engineer

Passlogix is looking for experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to be located in our Manhattan office that are independently driven, key contributors on day one, and thrive on multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment. The position reports directly to the QA Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain automated functional/load test scripts
  • Perform automated and manual application software testing
  • Prepare and maintain manual test case documentation
  • Prepare reports on test results, defect analysis and overall testing progress
  • Create and maintain QA methodologies, standards, templates, etc.
  • Maintain toolset configuration and environment
  • Provide guidance on automated testing and share knowledge among staff

Qualifications:

  • 2 years using Segue's Silktest, Empirix eSuite or similar test tools
  • 2 years developing applications using Visual Basic or Javascript
  • Experience in testing both windows and web applications
  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Thorough understanding of quality assurance/software testing processes, methodologies and procedures
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and meet challenging deadlines in a rapid application development environment
  • Familiarity with Win32 platforms
