Passlogix to Discuss FIM with Enterprise Single Sign-on and Shared Accounts at NY Conference

November Session at Oxford Computer Group's US Identity & Access Summit

Nov 03, 2009 — New York, NY;

Passlogix, Inc., announced today that Matt Berzinski, Product Manager, has been selected to lead a discussion on shared account management at the Oxford Computer Group’s US Identity & Access Summit 2009 taking place this week in New York City.

The November 4th session, titled “Forefront Identity Manger with Enterprise Single Sign-on and Shared Accounts,” will address a new strategy for meeting the security and compliance challenges associated with providing secure system and application access for administrators, temporary workers, and others who must share account IDs. The strategy involves simplifying shared password management by integrating it with existing single sign-on and identity management tools, eliminating the need for a dedicated vault system.

This approach allows administrators to manage both conventional and shared credentials with a common strategy and infrastructure. It also enables shared credentials to be securely stored, retrieved and used, with proper authorization and usage tracking.

The Oxford Computer Group conference is focused on Microsoft Identity and Access Management, including the highly anticipated release of Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 as well as security and access control. Presenters include personnel from Microsoft, independent software vendors, and experienced implementation consultants.
