v-GO® Authentication ManagerTM
v-GO® Authentication Manager (v-GO AM) allows organizations to use any combination of tokens, smart cards, biometrics and passwords to control access to their applications. Depending on their locations, users may employ different types of authenticators to open some of the same applications. v-GO AM is the only solution that works with any authenticator to any application and requires no integration to get it up and running, considerably reducing the cost, effort and complexity of deployment. And that makes it easier for organizations to implement strong authentication strategies without locking themselves in to specific vendors or technologies.
v-GO AM, which interfaces to all authentication devices, acts as a mediating layer between the authenticators and our v-GO Single Sign-On solution, which connects to any application. After v-GO AM accepts a user’s authentication, v-GO SSO connects to any application using the appropriate user ID and complex password.
Setting a few configuration switches in the v-GO AM Console is all it takes to deploy the authenticators to various user groups. Administrators have control over which applications users can access with which authenticators, as well as which functions of v-GO AM they may execute based on the type of authenticator. This kind of control ensures users have as much access as it makes sense to applications they need despite their location and authentication method, while giving organizations an unsurpassed level of data protection best suited to their requirements.
