v-GO® Self-Service Password ResetTM 6.0
Once v-GO SSO has been installed, users never need to worry about lost and forgotten application passwords again. But should they forget their one remaining password to the Windows® Domain, v-GO Self-Service Password Reset by Passlogix® (v-GO SSPR) provides users a simple secure way to regain access to their computer. Users can reset their password directly from their locked out workstation, so that they can get to their applications within seconds - without having to pick up the telephone or go to another workstation.
When v-GO SSPR is installed, users enroll by answering a series of confidential questions. When a user forgets a Windows password, v-GO SSPR prompts the user to answer the questions again. An identity validation process compares entered answers with the originals and factors in accounting for human errors in typing and memory recall. If the user successfully answers a sufficient number of questions, v-GO SSPR enables them to automatically reset their Windows password - with no call to the help desk.
