Compatible with a wide range of smart cards, tokens, public key infrastructure
(PKI), and biometrics, Passlogix v-GO SSO works with nearly all authentication
devices. As a result, the Passlogix solution can enhance network security
through various forms of advanced authentication.
With two-factor authentication, for example, security for the network is essentially doubled by requiring users to present not one but two forms of identification: a password and an authentication device. Without both the password and the hardware, a user cannot access applications.
Single sign-on
With Passlogix v-GO Single Sign-On (SSO), your staff can access all
their applications, databases, and systems using a single, easy-to-remember
password. So they can gain immediate access to drilling data, production
reports, and other critical information in a secure, controlled environment.
The ease and convenience of our “single password sign-on” eliminates the need for oil and gas workers to remember a dozen or more individual passwords. Passlogix v-GO SSO does not require password synchronization, allowing password syntax to be set at a high level.
If users forget their password, they can regain access to their computer and the corporate network with v-GO Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). The software allows users to reset their password directly from the Windows logon prompt on their locked-out workstation, even from remote locations or overseas.
